Flourish Community Garden Project

Based at the popular Frimley Lodge Park in Frimley Green, Flourish is a community led gardening project bringing together different groups from around the Surrey Heath area and getting them growing. Funding for the project came from the Sandhurst Marks and Spencers "Greener Living Fund".

Community gardening will help get you fitter and feel better in a relaxed environment, ready to make new friends and to learn new skills. There will be a variety of tasks on offer to suit your ability from seed sowing to building compost bins. Workshops will be held throughout the year covering various activities including "grow your own salad bowl", cut flower gardening, compost making and working with wildlife.

There will also be an after school club which will run during term time as well as various taster days for children during the school holidays. All the activities and workshops will be led by Kate Turner the experienced community gardener along with local volunteers.

The photographs show the shed being built and two of the garden beds with various flowering plants and vegetables.
