Frimley Green Open Gardens

Two gardens in Frimley Green will be opening on Wednesday 10th June for charity under the National Garden Scheme. Entry will be by pre-booked ticket only. A combined ticket for both gardens is just £4.50. Timed tickets will ensure you have up to an hour to look around. Numbers will be strictly limited.

Entry will be at Oakleigh in The Hatches and a one-way system will take you through to Wildwood where you can exit a few yards further up the road. Social distancing and other safety measures will be in place - which means you will be able to enjoy the gardens at your leisure without any crowds.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 8th June and are expected to sell out quickly. Go to:

ngs.org.uk/product-category/garden-tickets/south-east (it will be listed under Oakleigh, Surrey)

The National Garden Scheme raises money to support nursing and caring charities. With the Covid-19 restrictions they have not been able to raise much this year at just the time when the money is most needed so this opening is especially welcome. A number of local gardens, including these two, have been open in the past either for the NGS or Frimley Green Open Gardens but, until now, it was looking like this year we might not get our local 'fix' of garden visiting.

If you can't make it then you can at least enjoy a virtual tour of Oakeligh, and many other gardens, on the NGS website. See:
